Happy Year of the Tiger

Happy Year of the Tiger! We had a great Chinese New Year Celebration. It was two weeks late because of the snowy February. The kids enjoyed many crafts, received a red envelope, watched the Lion Dancers and ate our traditional New Year meal. The high light of the evening was Meilynn's Chines class singing two songs in Mandarin. It was so special. Dan had to take Meilynn out in the hall while the Lion Dancers performed she was frightened by them and the loud noises. After she recovered from that the kids had the lantern parade. It was a great evening!
