Meilynn's Baptism

Today Meilynn was baptized. This was a very emotional day for our family. Meilynn is a member of God's family, something that she may not have been able to experience in China. We are so over joyed that the Lord chose our family for Meilynn to be a member of. We promise to train her in the ways of the Lord.

Our family and friends were there to particiapte in the baptism. We had 35 family and friends attend Meilynn's baptism along with the other members of our church. Nickolas was the acolyte today for the service. He held the baptismal water from the river Jordon. We were so glad Nickolas could participate in this very special way. Mike Poletti, Dan's brother was the Godfather and Linda Shoemaker, a very good friend and co-worker of mine was the Godmother. We went for dinner after the baptism, then back to our home for cake. It was a beautiful day for a little princess who was dedicated to the Lord.
