A Day at Gymboree Art and Play

Meilynn goes to Gymboree Art every Thursday morning. After art class we stay and play on the equipment. Meilynn loves the time she spends at Gymboree. It gives her a chance to interact with children her own age. I am really concentrating.

Meilynn's Singing Debut

We hope you enjoy listening to Meilynn sing Jesus Loves Me. We smile every time we hear her sing this song. It is such a blessing knowing that Meilynn is learning about Jesus and his love.

Easter 2009

We had a wonderful first Easter with Meilynn. When she woke up she found out that the Easter Bunny left her a special basket that she needed to find. She started her hunt around the house and finally found her basket under the dinning room table. Yes, the Easter Bunny even left a basket for her brother Nickolas.

The service Easter morning was beautiful. Dan sings on the praise team and the music was just beautiful today. What a blessing it is to know that Meilynn will know the Lord and of his love and Resurrection.

We went out for dinner and then came back to the house for time to share with the family. The kids enjoyed painting eggs and having another Easter egg hunt. Nickolas had a great windy day to fly his new Star Wars kite. What a great day!

Our memories of Gotha Day

Our first family day.

Today is the one year anniversary of our Gotcha Day. All day so many memories have been flooding my mind. You can see how emotional this day was for all of us. I look back at the pictures and can't believe how far Meilynn has come. We are so blessed to have her as a member of our family. Adoption is such a gift and I am so glad we had the chance to experience this journey. We hope you enjoy the memories of our special day.
