This was a wonderful first Christmas for Meilynn. Last night we Meilynn and I didn't get to Christmas Eve services because she was ready to go to bed. This has been a very overwhelming time for her. She has handled it so well. It was hard for Nickolas to wait to go downstairs this morning. He was so excited for Meilynn to experience her first Christmas. Meilynn loved opening up gifts; hers and everyone else's. I would have to say her favorite gift was her little people town and her Mini dress up outfit. As soon as she opened her Mini dress she put it on and did not take it off the rest of the day. What a great choice Nei Nei Bucky Sue! We spent the day at home enjoying Meilynn's first Christmas. What a blessing God has given us this Christmas!

Santa visits The Hershey Company
Santa made a special stop this year to the Hershey Chocolate Factory. We took Meilynn and Grandma Juice to see Santa. As you can see in the picture Meilynn was not so sure about Santa. The kids and grandma enjoyed some cookies and chocolate milk, after Meilynn had her hand painted. Nickolas was a very good sport. He wanted his sister to enjoy her first Christmas with her forever family. After we came outside the Hershey fire department had one of their firetrucks there for the kids to climb in. I couldn't believe Meilynn went in the truck. Having a big brother to share all these adventures with really helps. We are so thankful for Nickolas and the way he is handling being a big brother. We decided to make one more stop before we left Hershey. We went to Chocolate World. Of course Meilynn had to take three rides on the factory tour ride. She just loves the ride, just like Nickolas did when he was little.

Trimming the Christmas Tree
Another first for Meilynn, decorating the Christmas tree. She was so excited to see each ornament as it was unwrapped. The expression on her face was just priceless. She enjoyed hanging the ornaments on the tree. After we were all finished decorating the tree she just started to jump up and down and said, "Mei Mei happy". Her excitement brings us such joy! Just looking at her brought tears to my eyes. She has come so far in 8 months. We are so thankful she is part of our family!
